The procedure is confidential and straightforward.
You will receive a cordial welcome when you are admitted to our clinic for treatment. In most cases, admissions need to be pre-reserved, but we can take in a new admission within one day of making a reservation.
Referrals made by the client themselves, their family, colleagues, and medical physicians are welcomed. Our team is prepared to receive you upon arrival once you have confirmed your booking.
When you arrive at the clinic you'll meet the clinical team and you'll be escorted around to offer you the chance to get to know the facility's layout. You'll be given a welcome pack that will give an explanation of everything you're required to know regarding your stay at the Sanctuary Lodge and a roster of the therapy sessions. Please give us a call if you can't travel to our centre by yourself.
On the first 24 hours of your admission, we will prepare everything for your first meeting with your detox specialist.
Your medical and psychological treatment needs will be assessed during this first and important step. A full detox regimen will be prescribed if required. This detoxification will then be directed and supervised under rigid official procedures by our healthcare experts.
It's important to note that you have to take with you any prescribed medications you have been taking, and also provide us any information regarding any recent surgery.
A psychiatrist will call attention to any aspects of your treatment that need expert attention and make suggestions. We will make sure that anything that is emphasized or suggested is then included into your denoted treatment procedure because it is important to us that while you stay with us all of your rehabilitation requirements are fulfilled. In order to ensure that you are always receiving the best in healthcare at all times, our clinical director, counsellors and medical professionals will periodically and continually review your treatment plan.
Our friendly staff will then help you settle in once your assessment has been completed. We fully recognize that this is a very stressful and fearful time for most, but our staff is on hand to offer advice and reassurance at all times.
